Salbutamol, también conocido como albuterol en algunas regiones, es un agonista selectivo de los receptores adrenérgicos beta-2 que se utiliza principalmente como broncodilatador en el tratamiento del asma y la enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica (EPOC). Su fórmula química es C13H21NO3, y presenta un grupo hidroxilo fenólico, que contribuye a su actividad farmacológica.
