Yoduro de acetiltiocolina es un compuesto de amonio cuaternario que sirve como sustrato para la enzima acetilcolinesterasa y se utiliza a menudo en investigaciones bioquímicas, particularmente en estudios relacionados con la neurotransmisión. Es un análogo sintético del neurotransmisor acetilcolina, que presenta un grupo tioéter que mejora su estabilidad y reactividad.
