Polioxina B es un compuesto antifúngico natural producido por la fermentación de ciertas especies de Streptomyces, particularmente Streptomyces griseus. Se clasifica como un antibiótico nucleósido y es conocido principalmente por su capacidad para inhibir la síntesis de quitina, un componente crítico de las paredes celulares de los hongos.
