This inhibition leads to a decrease in IVA and other short chain fatty acids that are important for fungal growth. (1R,2R,5R)-2-Isopropyl-5-methylcyclohexanol is an inhibitor of solid catalysts used in pharmaceutical preparations and ester compounds.
