    <p>3-Chloro-N-(1-cyclohexyl-3-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)-4-fluoro­benzeneacetamide is a potent and selective inhibitor of the insulin receptor. It binds to the extracellular domain of the insulin receptor, preventing it from binding to its ligands. The inhibition of the insulin receptor leads to a reduction in glucose uptake and an increase in glycogen synthesis. This agent also inhibits ion channels such as voltage gated sodium channels. 3-Chloro-N-(1-cyclohexyl-3-methyl-1H­ pyrazol­5­yl)-4­fluoro­benzeneacetamide has been shown to act as an agonist at alpha2A adrenergic receptors, leading to increased blood pressure.</p>
