Cycloheptylmethanesulfonyl chloride also inhibits other enzymes involved in the synthesis of proteins in neurons, leading to neuronal damage. Cycloheptylmethanesulfonyl chloride has been shown to be effective against neurological disorders such as neurodegenerative diseases and nerve damage.
