TCS 401 is a novel dopamine receptor agonist that has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by inducing apoptosis. TCS 401 does not inhibit cell proliferation, but instead has an anti-apoptotic effect and inhibits the release of epidermal growth factor (EGF). TCS 401 also inhibits the activation of phosphatase, which is important for cell apoptosis. This drug has been shown to be effective in reducing insulin resistance and cardiac hypertrophy through its ability to activate dopamine receptors.
