    <p>N-Boc-ethanolamine is a naturally occurring antimicrobial peptide that has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the growth of cancer cells in vitro. It also inhibits glucose production in the body and has been used in the treatment of diabetes mellitus. N-Boc-ethanolamine is synthesized by solid-phase synthesis with ferrocenecarboxylic acid, followed by reaction with aldehyde groups and subsequent hydrogenation.
