CAS 31690-09-2
:L-Metilfolato

CAS:
Levomefolic acid is a derivative of folic acid and belongs to the group of dinucleotide phosphates. It has been shown to have a protective effect against blood clots, and is used in the treatment of pernicious anaemia, megaloblastic anaemia, and leukopenia. Levomefolic acid also inhibits energy metabolism in bacteria. Its mode of action is not fully understood but it has been demonstrated that it inhibits enzyme activities such as methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) and 5-methyltetrahydrofolate cyclohydrolase. The production of DNA nucleotides has also been shown to be inhibited by the drug. Levomefolic acid has also been shown to have an effect on redox potentials in cancer cell lines. In addition, it has been found that levomefolic acid can be transferred from maternal blood to human serum.
Fórmula:C20H25N7O6Pureza:Min. 95 Area-%Forma y color:White PowderPeso molecular:459.46 g/mol
