Benzyl isocyanate (BNC) is a reactive compound that belongs to the class of organic compounds. It is used in the manufacture of many products, including paints, adhesives, and plastics. BNC is also used as a reagent in organic synthesis. It can be found on the human skin as an evaporating solvent and has been shown to have hypoglycemic effects when administered orally or intravenously.
