Mecilinamo

Descripción:
Mecilinamo es un antibiótico beta-lactámico que pertenece a la clase de las penicilinas, diseñado específicamente para atacar e inhibir la síntesis de la pared celular bacteriana. Es particularmente efectivo contra ciertas bacterias Gram-negativas, incluyendo cepas de Escherichia coli y Proteus mirabilis. Mecilinamo funciona al unirse a las proteínas de unión a penicilina (PBPs), que son esenciales para el entrecruzamiento de las capas de peptidoglicano en las paredes celulares bacterianas, lo que finalmente conduce a la lisis celular y la muerte. Este antibiótico se caracteriza por su toxicidad relativamente baja para las células humanas, lo que lo convierte en una opción adecuada para tratar infecciones del tracto urinario y otras infecciones bacterianas. Mecilinamo se administra a menudo por vía oral y es conocido por su estabilidad en presencia de ciertas beta-lactamasas, aunque puede ser susceptible a otras.     <p>Amdinocillin is a semisynthetic antibiotic with broad-spectrum activity that is part of the aminopenicillin family.
