Metil vinil sulfona (MVS) es un compuesto organosulfurado caracterizado por sus grupos funcionales vinilo y sulfonilo. Es un líquido incoloro a amarillo pálido con un olor distintivo. MVS es conocido por su reactividad, particularmente en reacciones de adición de Michael, donde puede actuar como un electrófilo debido a la presencia del grupo sulfonilo.
