4-Ethoxy-3-fluoroaniline is a kinase inhibitor that inhibits the activity of protein kinases. It is an analog of 4-ethoxy-3-fluorophenylalanine and has shown in vivo activity. 4-Ethoxy-3-fluoroaniline binds to the ATP binding site at the N terminus of the enzyme, which prevents ATP from binding and thus inhibits its function. The compound can be used as a starting material for more potent inhibitors of protein kinases.
