Descripción:
Clorhidrato de clonidina es un medicamento que se utiliza principalmente para tratar la hipertensión y el trastorno por déficit de atención e hiperactividad (TDAH). Es un agonista alfa-2 adrenérgico, lo que significa que actúa estimulando los receptores alfa-2 en el cerebro, lo que lleva a una disminución del flujo simpático y una posterior reducción de la frecuencia cardíaca y la presión arterial. La sustancia aparece como un polvo cristalino blanco a blanco amarillento y es soluble en agua, lo que la hace adecuada para diversas formulaciones, incluidas tabletas orales y parches transdérmicos.
