Propoxifeno es un analgésico opioide sintético que se utilizó principalmente para el alivio del dolor leve a moderado. Se clasifica como un miembro de la clase de compuestos diphenylpropylamine. La estructura química de Propoxifeno incluye un grupo propóxido, que contribuye a sus propiedades farmacológicas. CAS:Producto controlado<p>Dextropropoxyphene is a synthetic opioid analgesic that is used in the treatment of mild to moderate pain. It is a prodrug which undergoes first-pass metabolism, and has an inhibitory effect on neural growth factors. Dextropropoxyphene also has some hallucinogenic effects and may be used as a recreational drug. Dextropropoxyphene can be detected in urine samples by gas chromatography with mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The clinical relevance of dextropropoxyphene is not fully understood, but it has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on inflammation and trigeminal neuralgia.
