Resveratrol es un compuesto polifenólico que se encuentra de forma natural principalmente en la piel de las uvas rojas, bayas y ciertas plantas. Se clasifica como un estilbeno, caracterizado por sus dos anillos aromáticos conectados por un doble enlace. Resveratrol exhibe propiedades antioxidantes, que ayudan a neutralizar los radicales libres y pueden contribuir a varios beneficios para la salud, incluidos efectos antiinflamatorios y cardioprotectores.
