(+)-Cis-phenothrin

Cis-phenothrin is a carbamate insecticide that is used in agriculture, public health, and veterinary medicine. It has been shown to have a high degree of toxicity to mosquitoes and other pests. Cis-phenothrin acts as an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, preventing the breakdown of acetylcholine by enzymes in the central nervous system.
