Celobiosa

Descripción:
Celobiosa es un disacárido compuesto por dos unidades de glucosa unidas por un enlace β-1,4-glicosídico. Es un azúcar reductor y se clasifica como un carbohidrato. Celobiosa se encuentra típicamente en la estructura de la celulosa de las plantas, donde sirve como un bloque de construcción. Es soluble en agua, y su solubilidad se ve influenciada por la temperatura. La fórmula molecular de Celobiosa es C12H22O11, y tiene un peso molecular de aproximadamente 342.3 g/mol. En términos de sus propiedades físicas, Celobiosa aparece como un polvo cristalino blanco.
