Descripción:
Salicilato de sodio es la sal sódica del ácido salicílico, caracterizada por su apariencia cristalina blanca y su naturaleza higroscópica. Es soluble en agua y presenta un sabor ligeramente amargo. Este compuesto se utiliza a menudo en productos farmacéuticos, particularmente como analgésico y agente antiinflamatorio, debido a su capacidad para inhibir las enzimas ciclooxigenasas, reduciendo así el dolor y la inflamación. It has been shown to inhibit leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) and nf-κb binding activity, which leads to the suppression of inflammation and cancer.
