Descripción:
Ácido 1,4-piperazinedietanosulfónico, comúnmente conocido como PIPES, es un agente amortiguador ampliamente utilizado en la investigación biológica y bioquímica. Es un compuesto zwitteriónico, lo que significa que contiene cargas tanto positivas como negativas, lo que le permite mantener un pH estable en solución.
