Clorhidrato de puromicina es un compuesto antibiótico que se deriva de la bacteria *Streptomyces alboniger*. Se conoce principalmente por su papel como inhibidor de la síntesis de proteínas, dirigiéndose específicamente a la maquinaria ribosomal de células procariontes y eucariontes.
