:Tocainida
Descripción:
Tocainida es un compuesto farmacéutico utilizado principalmente como agente antiarrítmico, particularmente en el tratamiento de arritmias ventriculares. Pertenece a la clase de medicamentos conocidos como bloqueadores de canales de sodio, que actúan inhibiendo la entrada de iones de sodio durante la fase de despolarización del potencial de acción cardíaco, estabilizando así la membrana cardíaca y reduciendo la actividad eléctrica anormal. Tocainida se caracteriza por su fórmula química, que incluye un anillo de piperidina, y se administra típicamente por vía oral. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of enzymes such as acetylcholinesterase, phospholipase A2, and cyclooxygenase. N,N-Diethylnicotinamide has a synergistic effect with pentobarbital sodium in inducing chronic pulmonary inflammation in rats. This drug also has an acid complexing effect on fatty acids and nitrogen atoms. The coordination geometry of this drug is octahedral with two nitrogen atoms coordinated to one metal ion.
