1-Stearoyl-2-arachidonoyl-sn-glycero-3-pe is a potent inhibitor of tumor growth and proliferation. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo by inducing apoptosis. This compound has also been found to be effective against a wide range of human cancers, including those resistant to other chemotherapeutic agents such as methotrexate. Additionally, 1-Stearoyl-2-arachidonoyl-sn-glycero-3-pe has demonstrated inhibitory activity against rifampicin-resistant bacteria. Studies have also shown that this compound can act as an analog for astaxanthin, which is known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Furthermore, 1-Stearoyl-2-arachidonoyl-sn-glycero-3-pe is an effective kinase inhibitor and has been demonstrated to inhibit the activity of Chinese hamster ovary cell kinases.
