Oxaliplatino es un fármaco de quimioterapia a base de platino que se utiliza principalmente en el tratamiento del cáncer colorrectal. Se clasifica como un compuesto de platino de tercera generación y es conocido por su capacidad para formar enlaces cruzados en el ADN, lo que inhibe la replicación y transcripción del ADN, llevando finalmente a la muerte de las células cancerosas.
