LY 117018 also inhibits epidermal growth factor (EGF) in liver cells and cyclin D2, which is involved in cell cycle regulation. The effect on blood vessels was dose-dependent for LY 117018. This drug potentiates the actions of 17β-estradiol on mcf-7 cells and serum prolactin levels are significantly decreased in vivo by this compound.
