Descripción:
Metanol, también conocido como alcohol metílico, es un alcohol simple con la fórmula química CH₃OH y el número CAS 67-56-1. Es un líquido incoloro y volátil con un olor ligeramente dulce y es altamente soluble en agua. Metanol tiene un bajo punto de ebullición y una alta presión de vapor, lo que lo convierte en una sustancia inflamable que puede formar mezclas explosivas con el aire.
