Descripción:
Rodio es un metal de transición raro, de color blanco plateado, que pertenece al grupo de metales del platino, conocido por su alta reflectividad y resistencia a la corrosión y oxidación. Tiene el número atómico 45 y se denota con el símbolo Rh. Rodio se utiliza principalmente en convertidores catalíticos para automóviles, donde ayuda a convertir gases nocivos en emisiones menos tóxicas.
