p-Nitrofenil α-D-galactopiranósido es un compuesto sintético comúnmente utilizado como sustrato en ensayos bioquímicos, particularmente para la detección de enzimas galactosidasa. Presenta un grupo galactopiranósido unido a un grupo p-nitrofenilo, que sirve como indicador cromogénico.
