Verde de bromocresol es un colorante sintético e indicador de pH comúnmente utilizado en diversas aplicaciones bioquímicas. Se caracteriza por su capacidad para cambiar de color en respuesta a variaciones de pH, típicamente pasando de amarillo en condiciones ácidas a azul en entornos alcalinos, con un rango de transición de pH alrededor de 3.8 a 5.4.
