Fasitibant chloride hydrochloride is a potent, reversible inhibitor of the α-subunit of the protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A). It is highly purified and has been shown to inhibit PP2A in a variety of cell types. Fasitibant chloride hydrochloride can be used as a research tool for studying protein interactions, as well as an activator or ligand for receptor binding. It also inhibits ion channels, which are integral in the regulation of many cellular processes.
