CAS:<p>BRD6688 is a protein inhibitor that binds to and inhibits the activity of GABA transporters. It is a potent inhibitor of the gaba transporter (GAT) with an IC50 of 0.2 μM. BRD6688 has been shown to inhibit the acetylation of histone proteins, which are important for transcriptional regulation and gene expression. BRD6688 also has a thermodynamic inhibitory constant (Ki) of 1.4 μM and a kinetic inhibitory constant (Ki) of 0.3 μM, indicating that it binds tightly to GATs and does not dissociate easily from it.
