CAS:(Ethylsulfamoyl)amine is a drug that can be used as a cancer therapy. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by targeting mitochondrial functions and protein synthesis. The drug also has anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to treat depression, but is not effective in treating bacterial infections. (Ethylsulfamoyl)amine is an amide with sulfamate and sulfamic acid functional groups. It has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against certain bacteria such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Proteus mirabilis. (Ethylsulfamoyl)amine is also an aliphatic hydrocarbon with heterocyclic properties that can be used as a hypoxic tumor-targeting particle for radiation therapy.
