2-Hydroxyethane-1-sulfonamide
CAS:<p>2-Hydroxyethane-1-sulfonamide is a potent antiviral agent that inhibits the virus from entering cells by binding to the fatty acid component of the viral envelope. It also has potent antitumor activity and has been shown to be effective against HIV infection. 2-Hydroxyethane-1-sulfonamide binds to mitochondrial matrix proteins, inhibiting fatty acid oxidation and glycogen synthase kinase 3 (GSK3) activation.
