<p>2-Undecanone is a fatty acid that has been isolated from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties and can inhibit the production of cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor (TNF) and interleukin (IL)-1β. 2-Undecanone also inhibits the Toll-like receptor 4 signaling pathway.
