• Descripción: The bitter taste of tri-tyrosine, YYY, is due to its marked hydrophobicity. Narai-Kanayama and Aso showed that Tyr-Tyr (G-3480) and Tyr-Tyr-Tyr efficiently inhibit angiotensin I-converting enzyme (ACE) from rabbit lung, their IC₅₀ values were 34 μM and 51 μM, respectively. These two tyrosine peptides exhibited a mix of competitive and noncompetitive inhibitions.
