Leishman Stain is used to stain blood smears to identify parasites, leukocytes and trypanosomas. It is used in hematology and tropical medicine to differentiate and identify leukocytes. It acts like fluorescent stains for detection of malaria parasite. It is also used for bone marrow staining. This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand.
