The Met antibody is a monoclonal antibody that targets the hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) receptor, also known as Met. This antibody has been shown to inhibit the activation of Met by HGF in human serum, making it a potential therapeutic option for diseases associated with aberrant Met signaling. The Met antibody specifically binds to the extracellular domain of the Met receptor, preventing its interaction with HGF and subsequent downstream signaling events.
