Alamethacin is a drug that belongs to the class of p-nitrophenyl phosphate. It inhibits the activity of the enzyme, p450, which is responsible for many drug-metabolizing reactions. Alamethacin has been shown to inhibit the production of collagenase in kidney fibrosis and intermolecular hydrogen bonding in infectious diseases.
