Descripción

Linalyl Butyrate is a chemical that belongs to the group of glycol ethers. It has been shown to have in vitro antifungal activity against geranyl and particle-induced corrosion of stainless steel in the presence of oxygen. Linalyl Butyrate is used as an additive in detergents and as a corrosion inhibitor. The chemical composition of Linalyl Butyrate can be determined by gas chromatography and mass spectrometry, which show that the substance contains a hydroxyl group and fatty acid. The structure of Linalyl Butyrate can be confirmed by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).
