Descripción

Piperidolate is a drug that is used to treat chronic bronchitis. It is a prodrug which is metabolized in the body to form piperidine, an anticholinergic drug. Piperidolate has been shown to be effective against symptoms of chronic bronchitis, infectious diseases and autoimmune diseases, as well as inflammatory diseases such as occlusive airways disease. Piperidolate has no effect on water vapor transmission or on the production of mucus by airway cells. The drug has also been found to cause drug reactions at the site of injection in some patients.
