Descripción:1,1™-Bicyclohexyl is a hydrocarbon that is used in pharmaceutical preparations and as a solvent for other chemicals. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of hepatitis. The use of 1,1™-bicyclohexyl has been found to be safe in humans and animals at doses up to 500 mg/kg body weight per day. The chemical has a phase transition temperature of -115°C, which makes it useful for sample preparation. 1,1™-Bicyclohexyl is an example of a group p2 compound due to its biphenyl structure. It also exhibits methyl ethyl substitution on the benzene ring, which can be seen by x-ray diffraction data. Hydrochloric acid and hydroxyl groups have been found as substituents on the molecule.
