Isobutyl Methacrylate is a methacrylate that has been stabilized with HQ. It is used to treat infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, leprosy, and malaria. Isobutyl Methacrylate contains nitrogen atoms and may be used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases by inhibiting the synthesis of inflammatory cytokines and enzymes. Isobutyl Methacrylate is also used as a polymer that forms nanoparticulate compositions, which can be used in optical sensors or as drug delivery vehicles. The high resistance of Isobutyl Methacrylate results from its thermal expansion properties.
