Phenylarsonic acid is a chemical with the molecular formula CHNO. It is used in diagnostic procedures for the detection of chemokines, which are substances that regulate the migration of certain cells. Phenylarsonic acid can be detected by a number of analytical methods, including gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). This chemical is also used in wastewater treatment as a reductant, to increase the redox potential. The prognosis and diagnosis of phenylarsonic acid can be determined by measuring its kinetic properties or determining its concentration in plasma.
