Descripción:7-Ethyl-2-methyl-4-undecanol is a long chain fatty acid that contains an aneurysm. It is used as a reference for the detection sensitivity of an assays for sulfate fractionation in the presence of crystalline cellulose. 7-Ethyl-2-methyl-4-undecanol has been shown to be effective in preventing embolization and may be useful in the treatment of abdominal aneurysms. It is also used as a calibration agent for polymerase chain reaction experiments. The optical properties of 7-ethyl 2 methyl 4 undecanol are similar to those observed with other long chain fatty acids, making it useful as an experimental model.
