Descripción:Oleylamine is an organic compound that contains a hydroxyl group. It can be used to remove organic compounds and other chemicals from water. Oleylamine has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria, such as Escherichia coli and Enterococcus faecalis, by reacting with the fatty acids on their cell walls and forming a film. The antimicrobial activity of oleylamine is due to its ability to release reactive oxygen species, which kill bacteria. Oleylamine also has antioxidant properties that protect cells from lipid peroxidation due to its ability to scavenge free radicals.
