Descripción:Phthalylsulfacetamide is a sodium citrate that is used to treat infectious diseases. It is a cross-linking agent that has been shown to be effective against viruses such as the Hepatitis A virus and the influenza virus. Phthalylsulfacetamide has also been shown to be an anti-viral agent that inhibits choroidal neovascularization in animal models of age-related macular degeneration, as well as gene product. This drug may act by binding to toll-like receptors or inhibiting kinase activity.
