Descripción:(-)-Asarinin is a natural product that has been shown to exhibit significant cytotoxicity against 3T3-L1 preadipocytes. (-)-Asarinin is a phenolic compound that is extracted from the leaves of sesame plants. It has been shown to inhibit the ATP-binding cassette transporter and chemiluminescence method, which are both response elements for inflammatory cytokines. (-)-Asarinin also inhibits toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) expression and thereby prevents chronic cough. (-)-Asarinin is genotoxic in vitro and in vivo, but not mutagenic.
