Información del producto
- [1,3]Thiazolo[5,4-C]Pyridine
- 5-Azabenzothiazole
- Thiazolo[4,5-c]pyridin
Thiazolo[4,5-c]pyridine is a heterocyclic compound with an antagonist effect at metabotropic glutamate receptors. It has been shown to act as an antagonist of the metabotropic glutamate receptor type 5 (mglur5) which is implicated in the pathogenesis of schizophrenia and other psychiatric disorders. The thiourea substituents are responsible for the antagonistic properties of this molecule. Thiazolo[4,5-c]pyridine also binds to excipients such as thiourea and cycloalkyl groups, which increases its efficacy as a neuroprotective agent.
