2,6-diiodo-4-nitrophenol is a chemical that has been used as an anthelmintic drug. This chemical also inhibits the population growth of Toxocara canis worms by blocking the production of ATP. 2,6-diiodo-4-nitrophenol is a toxic substance that can cause liver lesions when administered at high doses.
