Descripción:2-Fluoro-3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid (2FDBA) is a fluorinated dinitrophenyl ester that is used in microwave-assisted organic synthesis. It can be used to synthesize glycosylated trichloroacetimidates with efficient and stereospecific methodology. 2FDBA is an acceptor for the electron-rich trichloroacetimidates, which undergoes glycosylation reactions at these positions. The reaction proceeds under acidic conditions, with nucleophilic and reactive properties that are suitable for the synthesis of oligosaccharides and disaccharides. The product has been shown to be stable in water at pH 6.0 and above, but not in basic solutions.
